A recent Employee Research Survey by the Canadian Payroll Association revealed that 40% of Canadians are overwhelmed by their current debt levels, while a staggering 44% of workers are living pay cheque to pay cheque.
Employees who feel financially secure are more engaged and productive. The opposite is also true – financially stressed workers are much more likely to take days off and be distracted and unproductive when in the office.
