2022 Chosen Charities

Each year we select different charities that have a special meaning to us and donate to them. What are the chosen charities of 2022?

Vancouver Foodbank

The Greater Vancouver Food Bank gives food to those in need. In addition to supporting individuals and families experiencing food insecurity through direct distribution, we also provide food support to 118 Community Agency Partners throughout Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster and the North Shore. We have raised $275 this Christmas.

Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau

Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau wants to ensure that every child in our communities have a smile on their face during the holiday season. The holidays are about family and friends, and the experience of sharing and giving. This year we raised and donated $469.75.

Motionball

Motionball is a national not-for-profit organization whose mandate is to introduce the next generation of donors, volunteers and sponsors to the Special Olympics. For the past 7 years Montridge has supported Motionball. This year advisors Doug Birks and Preet Pall participated in their event day where the volunteers and fundraisers get to play with the athletes. Together Doug and Preet raised $750.

Montridge currently supports the following organizations

Benefits Of Caring

Montridge is a proud sponsor for the Benefits of Caring – a bi-annual charity auction event organized by volunteers from the benefits, pension and investment community in BC in support of Ovarian Cancer Canada, and is one of the largest contributors to Ovarian Cancer Canada (OCC). Benefits of Caring events have raised over $800,000 for OCC.

Rotary Coquitlam Sunrise

The Rotary is committed to working on a number of local and global community projects. Projects range from packing food hampers or picking up garbage; to international projects such as packing shipping containers of much-needed supplies for less-developed countries, or working to eradicate polio.

Global Change for Children

Our associate Preet Pall is a Founding Director and Montridge is a proud sponsor of GC4C – an organization dedicated to helping children by providing financial and other types of assistance. Their objective is to promote and enhance the health, education, social and economic development of children in disadvantaged regions throughout the world.
